I will be away from the computer, the office and this group until 1 September--see you all then!🙂 Erin will be looking after the office and will be able to help with orders and questions firstname.lastname@example.org
Resilience, resourcefulness, non attachment….and a reliable source of water….!
This is the 6th and last recording in the series, Parenting in Dark Times. A lot of people have gotten in touch saying they would like to share these talks with others—remember, anyone can join locals for free and listen and read. And although this is meant to be a group specifically for those homeschoolers using Christopherus, I see no problem with anyone at all listening and reading. But those who make a small monthly donation and become supporters (and can therefore post comments and start threads) really ought to only be Christopherus folks.
This is the 5th in the series of talks, Parenting in Dark Times. As always, feedback and comments not just welcome—-but positively encouraged! It is so helpful for fellow homeschoolers to hear/read the experience of others.
If anyone wants to listen to this and start a conversation, let's do it!!🙂
Just to say I have had covid and am still quite ill---will be away from the group and computer for a few weeks.
OK....this is the third time I have written a greeting to our newest members and supporters---I keep pinning it to the top and it lingers for a few days and then disappears despite the fact that the pinning I chose was/is permanent!! Grrrrr....
So--hello new folks. I encourage those of you who are supporters to introduce yourselves and say hello! (and hello to new members who are not supporters---you are able to read but not post. Just want you to all know your presence is valued too!)
If you are looking for the various recordings I have made, you could scroll through all the posts in the newsfeed…or, more efficiently, you could go to ‘content’—-see the left hand navigation bar.
Do know that locals is very much a work in progress---even in the past couple of months it has gotten a little less glitchy and has improved---but it has a long way to go. Please be patient--and don't feel dumb or weird if you get lost or can't find where things are--it is not a completely ...
Hi Folks! I plan on using the grade 1 curriculum with my kid starting in September (he’ll be 7 by then), but for various reasons we probably need to find a way to homeschool for 3 days, not 4. Has anyone else done this? Any tips for condensing things? I’ve already purchased the curriculum and looked over it but I haven’t found an obvious solution to this challenge. He’s an only child and I haven’t done this before. Thank you!
Welcome to the new Christopherus locals group ! This is an experiment which I hope goes well--looking forward to chat and conversation, support and sharing. This place is for all of you to share as Christopherus homeschoolers and to also work with me. Videos and perhaps live chat to follow once I get the hang of this!
Click on this text anywhere and that will open a comment box so you can introduce yourself!
